Steve HarveyHarvey's professional career started as comedian. The stand-up comic performed during the 1980s, and later hosted Showtime at the Apollo and The Steve Harvey Show on The WB. After starring on The Kings of Comedy Tour, the show was recast as The Original Kings of Comedy. He last performed stand-up in 2012. Harvey is the host of the two shows Family Feud and Celebrity Family Feud, holding this role since 2010. Harvey also hosted Little Big Shots and Little Big Shots Forever Young. He hosts Harvey's Funderdome. His books are his bestsellers Act Like a Lady and Think Like a Man. Harvey established Steve Harvey Global, an entertainment company which houses the production firm East 112 along with other ventures. Harvey also launched an African adaptation of Family Feud and also invested in the HDNet purchase as well as Anthem Sports and Entertainment. The couple and their wife Marjorie founded the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation an organization for non-profits that is focused on improving the education of youth. He's a Daytime Emmy Award recipient seven times, two-time Marconi Award nominee, and 14 times NAACP Image Award recipient in several categories.
